1. How to request deletion
Either of these works — pick whichever is easier:
Email us
Send an email to [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject line “Account deletion request”. The button below pre-fills it for you.
Open deletion emailAsk in the portal
Sign in at portal.pageone.cloud and send a message to our staff asking to delete your account. Because you are already signed in, no separate identity check is needed.
Client loginPlease include your business name and the phone number on file so we can find the right account quickly. If you email from a different address than the one on the account, we will ask you to verify ownership before we proceed — this protects your data from someone else deleting it.
If you are not a client but a lead or customer of one of our clients, the business you contacted controls that information; we will pass your request to them and help them complete it.
2. What gets deleted
Deleted or irreversibly anonymised
- Your portal login and profile (name, email, phone, password, preferences)
- Portal users you invited, and their logins
- Messages exchanged with our staff through the portal
- Connected Google account tokens (Business Profile, Gmail, Calendar) — access is revoked and tokens are destroyed
- Lead, review and performance data stored for your account
- Website change requests, drafts and report history
- Push-notification tokens and device identifiers from the mobile app
- Your SMS opt-in record and mobile number (we keep only a suppression entry so we never text you again)
- Marketing preferences and email-list entries
Deletion covers our production systems and our service providers. Copies in encrypted backups are overwritten on the backup rotation schedule and are never restored to live systems except to recover from a disaster, in which case we re-apply the deletion.
3. What we keep, and why
Retained for the legally required period, then deleted
- Invoices, payment records and tax records — required by financial-record and tax laws. These contain your business name, billing contact, amounts, dates and the last four digits of the card, never the full card number (which our payment gateway tokenises and we never store).
- Signed agreements and contract records — kept for the limitation period so either side can enforce or defend the agreement.
- Records needed for an open dispute, chargeback, investigation or legal hold — kept until the matter is closed.
- Security logs — minimal, time-limited logs of sign-ins and API access kept to detect abuse.
- Work product that belongs to you — such as the website we built or the content we published — is not deleted from the live internet by this process; tell us separately if you want a site taken down or transferred.
Anything retained is restricted to the staff who need it for that purpose and is deleted when the retention period ends.
4. Timeline
- Within 2 business days — we acknowledge your request by replying to the account email and confirm what will be deleted.
- Within 30 days — deletion is completed and we send you a final confirmation. Portal access ends as soon as deletion begins.
- Backups — copies in backups are overwritten on the normal rotation schedule after that.
If you have an active service plan, deleting your account also ends portal access for that plan. We will confirm with you before proceeding so you are not surprised; the plan itself is governed by your service agreement.
5. Deleting the mobile app vs your account
Uninstalling the Page One app from your phone removes the app and its local data from that device only; your account and data remain in the portal. To delete the account itself, use one of the methods in section 1. You can also ask us to delete only the data collected through the app (such as notification tokens) while keeping your account.
6. Deleting some data without closing your account
You do not have to close your account to tidy up. Email us or message us in the portal to:
- Disconnect a Google account and delete the data we pulled from it;
- Remove a portal user you invited;
- Delete specific leads, messages or uploaded files;
- Opt out of SMS (reply STOP) or marketing email (unsubscribe link).
